Listening to 'off the record' comments, I'm convinced that the ONLY reason
for the huge price rise on the PNS is due to the disastrous effect this has
had on rentals. Thousands of rental pumps have gone back to the warehouses.
Personally I am amazed that the manufacturers made such an enormous error.
Imagine inventing such an amazingly popular product - then having to
effectively take it off the market because it was destroying the foundation
of your business! Without wanting to launch a debate on rentals v. PNS, or
whether women should be pumping etc. etc. etc., I do feel this pump has
filled a great need for working Moms and many women will have a fit when
they cannot get it any more at a reasonable price (there are apparently v.
strict guidelines about retail prices). I'm not looking forward to their
comments. I think this is an unfair development by the manufacturers. Just
my 02c.
