I'm so glad this worked out for this mom to have a very happy ending!  A
thought to consider, though:  Since nipple stimulation is one way moms
are advised to self-induce labor, if this mom chooses to breastfeed and
ends up with a premature birth and *especially* if the premature birth
results in the baby spending time in the NICU, the mom will be filled
with guilt and "what ifs."  She will need to weigh the benefits of
continuing nursing with the risk (however slight) of breastfeeding
causing premature delivery and decide if she can feel comfortable with
her decision if her ending isn't a happy one.  Perhaps the age of her
breastfeeding child would be a factor in her choice.  I think the sad
truth is that if she has a premature birth and she had continued
breastfeeding against advice, she will always wonder if it could have
been prevented if she had not been nursing.
