WHAT?!!!!!!  THIS IS NUTS!  On postpartum we hand out OTC hemorrhoid preps
like candy on Halloween.  Is her doctor a doctor???  Could there have been
some miscommunication?  Am I living on another planet????  Is there a new
research study on hemorroids, meds, and bfg that I've missed??  If so,
someone please enlighten me!!!  Have her start doing sitz baths 2-3 times a
day for 10-15 minutes to help reduce the swelling.  It is perfectly safe to
use Prep H, or anusol, and TUCKS.  This mom should not be suffering needlessly.
