ONLY 10 hours??? I was in labor for 3 days and 18
hours at the hospital with this last one. OF course i
made the mistake of choosing a hosptial birth and i
did git PIT and than Nubain. Baby was born
unresponsive (from the drugs) and didn't descend
properly so his shoulders got stuck and the CNM would
NOT let me deleiver on all 4's like i wanted to
(the only comfortable way for me to labor).
I didn't get to nurse at the exact moment of birth but
within one hour i had him and he was NEVER taken out
of the room. OH did i mention this was VBAC!!!

Dr's SOME dr;s at too impatient and too quick to give
drugs and this only hurts mom and the breastfeeding
relationship (but of course all you lacnut know this)
