This is the reason that I allowed my cat to wean her kittens on her
schedule, instead of mine.  (BTW, 4 kittens to a good home ;)!)  Honestly
though all my bottle-feeding friends thought I am insane for allowing her
to follow her time schedule.  Apparently, it is a whole mindset.
