Okay, we're not the richest crowd in the world, but can you let us know
exactly HOW and WHERE to make those money donations? Or to mention when our
parents want to make an donation in honor of our birthday, or etc etc?

I haven't heard yet from Gail and Jay whether the "bf related charity" that
the most recent Lactnet raffle will benefit has been determined yet. How do
you all feel about making some milk bank, or perhaps HMBANA, a recipient?

I know that The New York Blood Center advertises WIDELY. Presumably every
poster they print will generates donations both of blood and of cash.
Wouldn't it be great if milk banks, either individually or in aggregate, were
able to poster in, say, pediatricians offices and pediatric ERs? How great
for both parents and hcps to have a visible reminder in front of them that
MILK BANKS EXIST. How much of a budget would it take to endow that kind of
material?

How about it, you milk bank folks? What do you do in this area, and what do
you need, and is there any way we can put this group's rich resources to work
for you here?

(Today at lunch I had the pleasure of hearing my husband ask a pregnant
guest, "Well, sure we're glad it's available for emergencies, but do you
really think that, say, a prosthesic hand is "every bit as good" as a human
hand?" )
