Thanks so much for the update about the Forbes article.   I was glad to be 
able to write a letter to the editor to make a case for the positive effects 
of breastmilk.
The 14th paragraph had a brief mention about breastmilk, but it was a case 
of too little and too late in the article to make any impact.
The findings of the researchers will to useful to any NICU patient because 
they are all at risk for NEC.  We have over 90% of our mothers are providing 
breastmilk in the NICU and our morbidity and mortality rates are very low.  
We have a rare case of NEC that has occured before initiation of feedings 
and occasionally a breast milk fed baby will develop NEC.  It is of course 
the AIM fed babies that are at high risk.    Hope all of you had a good
