<<Its a while since I posted but have been reading regularly. What I am
looking for is a clarification of the WHO code. Today I received a
professional nursing journal with a full page advertisement for a local
brand of infant formula. It was posted to my home address. Where I live, in
Australia, Australia is a signatory to the WHO code.>>

Marian,

You can find the Annual Report of the Advisory Panel on the Marketing in
Australia of Infant Formula here....

http://www.health.gov.au/pubhlth/publicat/document/brfeed/apmaif_01.pdf

This includes the Marketing in Australia of Infant Formulas: Manufacturers
and Importers Agreement (MAIF) in the appendix, and also includes the
signatories to the agreement in Australia, and guidelines for complaints
alleging breaches of the agreement.

The actual WHO code can be found at

http://www.ibfan.org/english/resource/who/fullcode.html
