I've found a new department store I just love. Not only does it have a
pianist at a grand piano for your shopping enjoyment, not only does it
provide free gift wrap and delivery service, not only does it have an
interest-free credit card (!), it has the most beautiful women's lounge --
comfy chairs and couches -- and a separate room (no door) off to the left
with a rocking chair, couch & another easy chair; a changing table and a
sink. No sign, but it is obvious it is for women who wish to feed their
babies in a relaxing environment. The bathroom itself is a separate room off
to the right of the lounge.

And, of course, to top off my "ladies' day out" with Jill, there was a woman
wandering around "evening wear" with her friend & children, breastfeeding her
baby. Was she discreet? Well, you couldn't see anything, but she did have a
receiving blanket thrown over the baby and her coat -- only a noodle-brain
would not have known what she was doing. I grinned at her & gave her a
"thumbs up".

For anyone interested (and no, I don't work for them), it is Von Maur's in
the Chicagoland area. VERY customer friendly. I see a letter in the
works...

Jan B. who is still looking for a Mother of the Bride dress, and knows
exactly what she wants but it isn't being manufactured. Sigh.
