Last week in Dayton, a mother "accidentally" made baby formula in the middle
of the night (in the dark!) and used blue lamp oil instead of the bottled
water she thought she was using. The Dayton Daily News reported that she had
been filling lamps that day and left the oil bottle on the counter. When she
stumbled into the kitchen to mix the formula, she didn't turn on the light.
She took the bottle back to her bed (???) and then fed the baby when the
baby woke up. Mom took the bottle into the kitchen while she made herself a
cup of cocoa. She noticed that the bottle appeared blue. By then the baby
started vomiting, they called 911 and the baby was rushed to the hospital in
serious condition. Apparently the baby is *OK*. They think it was an
accident based on the detectives being able to simulate what happened.....

Naturally, I have been using this in my BF promotion this week. I've even
been known to add that if you breastfeed and get the milk into the wrong
orifice, that the worst thing that could happen is that the lamp wouldn't
light! tee hee.

PS I've been silent recently because I have several projects that are taking
most of my attention. As soon as I have more time, I'll be contributing on a
more frequent basis. In the meantime, if anyone wants a quick response from
me, please e-mail me.
