Permission to post from mom. She is 1 1/2 weeks postpartum, breastfeeding first baby, which is going very well. Had some minor issues with engorgement which resolved. However, is concerned that her milk smells strongly of garlic, even though she hasn't been eating any garlic. Baby doesn't seem to mind. Grandmother (who is an OB nurse) noticed the smell also and asked me about it. The only thing I can think of is that it must be something in mom's diet. Any ideas on this? My comment was that it doens't seem to be a "problem" but mom is self concious of the fact that husband and grandma can also smell it.
