I would certainly agree with Patricia's comments:

I think for too many years we have been wishy washy about breast and bottle
being equal (guilt issue).  They are not equal period.<<

I remember the first mother that told me that she only wanted to pump and
not to
Breastfeed. This was in about 1982-1983. She worked in a chemical plant and
was concerned that her baby Might be contaiminated with chemicals from her 
if she breastfeed. Doesn't say much for the 
Cleanliness of the plant but it was a real concern to her (She had a Phd).

This was the only example that I had seen that would seem to have a some
basis in fact.
Although it seemed far fetched to me.....

I agree with Patricia on her statement but I think the formula companies
would be upset if it was presented to mothers that formula was a distant
third to the above choices...
