Hi, all,
My midwife friend has a client with an unusual problem. This mom had
silicone breast implants, breastfed 4 children, then had the implants
removed. There was some leakage of the stuff, so they went back in to get
it all (the silicone) out. Well, baby #5 is 5 weeks old, and all is
apparently going okay, except that she's got an abcess on one side. It
seems that there are cavities in her breast tissue from the removal
process. Can anyone tell us what to expect regarding repeat abcesses?
What about prevention and/or treatment? Thanks so much for any help,
please e-mail my midwife friend directly at [log in to unmask]
