Teri,

I am the same one who referenced the Home Study LC course. I did receive
several comments, thanks to all.
I have had a bf mom who had chronic breast pain, #3 baby, but first to bf. She
had some redness, but minimal achiness, and practically non existent fever. I
asked her if she had ever had a problem with yeast infections, and yes,
recurrently. After inspecting the baby's mouth, we discovered the baby had
thrush, so ped treated the baby orally. Mom was still uncomfortable for quite a
while, and finally, after i INSISTED she contact her OB, she finally was treated
topically. It took a while, but all finally cleared up. May not be helpful,
but is a suggestion....

Also, it might be that since this is #4, mom could be VERY BUSY! Has she
considered the load she is carrying? Trying to do too much? Not having as much
time to be "quiet"? Nursing in a harried fashion, just to "feed " the baby, can
often be the culprit.

Hope it helps.

Rosann
In Wichita, where the weather is unusually cool, but I love it!
(P.S. Would love to go to KC conference, but learned of it too late, plans to
go to another conference for my home business were already in concrete. I'll be
in Orlando! Maybe next year!)
