I had a mom in class with PKU on a 30-60 gram protein diet and her Phen
Formula sp? we are wondering what implications there are for her dietary
needs and or changes as R/T her breastfeeding her newborn?  she said a Dr
advised she NOT breastfeed until the infants PKU results return? this does
not make sense to me as i recall a PKU pos infant as being able to
Breastfeed except for one or two daily servings of the special PKU
formula.....am I on the right track? where can I get the latest lowdown?  I
have trouble accessing MedLINE does any one have any tricks for that as
well?    I'd like the latest search to share updated info  for her,
