Sheila and all lactnetter,

Apologies for not replying to this fast enough, in fact it went right over my
head for many a day, I read your posting Sheila (well, I whizz read it first
time round) and wondered why the need to mention the dangers of comfrey,
because don't we ALL know how dangerous it is? It took a couple of days for
the 'penny to drop' - it was ME WHO RECOMMENDED IT in my posting on iron rich
foods under title 'Blood letting for iron - Why the routine need?' on 2nd Feb!
! I can remember all the letters and articles warning about comfrey many,
many years ago in my NCT newsletters, magazines and general press......why the
keys on the pad and the letters on the screen jump didn't out at me, is a
wonder.

Thank you, Sheila, for bringing this up, I only thank that I have never
trotted this out to parents. I have amended my old info, and crikes, it is
old.
With my kind regards to you all, Helen M. Woodman, National Childbirth Trust
Breastfeeding Counsellor, UK
