Susan,
I too reviewed these videos and thoroughly enjoyed them. Our hospital has
purchased them on my recommendation for use in prenatal classes, my
breastfeeding class, on the post partum unit and for staff teaching. Maybe
now I can get a little more consistancy in the breastfeeding teaching being
done when I am not present. I highly recommend these videos. The approach
is timely (very 90's according to the young couples that previewed it with
me) and very realistic about the negative messages that some mothers may
experience through advertising as well as family/friends. Can't wait to
show it in my next class and am making it a requirement for all nurses
working in our OB unit ( along with a very good one on positioning that I
purchased several months ago:"Breastfeeding: A Guide to successful
Positioning" by Mark-It Television.
