You may need to differentiate between an RN-IBCLC working as an LC and an RN-IBCLC working as an RN in NICU, PICU, Peds, OB, etc. with the IBCLC as a "bonus".
My colleague gets one rate working as an LC, and a higher rate (one that is appropriate for her years of RN experience) when working as an RN in OB or PostPartum. Her IBCLC is not a factor in the second instance - but it is to her colleagues who want her to help with BFing for their babies.

I've been searching the Lactnet archives without success. I wonder if any of you can help me find what I'm looking for. My question is: By how much does adding the IBCLC credential increase the salary of an RN at your institution? You can answer in a percentage or by stating the salary of an RN and the salary of an RN/IBCLC. Annual salary or hourly rates are fine.
