I don't know. I wouldn't immediately jump to the conclusion that limits need
to be set. I would wonder  what's going on with this child who is at an
inquisitive age wanting to nurse every hour or more? Is s/he bored? I do find
that my 2.5 year old asks to nurse more frequently when he's just plain
bored.  And my 4 year old will only ask to nurse if something upsets her very
deeply. Mothering through breastfeeding is a wonderful way for mothers to
connect with their children on a very deep level, better enabling them to
discern between needs being expressed in an unpleasant fashion and just plain
rude behavior.
