Marsha Walker says it so well !!!  I was actually told once by a company rep
that it was the breast feeding moms they were after.  They already figure
that they've got a certain number who won't breastfeed but eventually those
who do will be looking for something else upon return to work etc.  And of
course the little bags will make going to work so much easier because after
all that is why so many women wean !!!  It makes me want to gag !!  I was
asked to read the new booklet but we will still not give out those packs or
use any company sponsored BF lit.  All that free stuff has got to go too.
It upsets me how willing and eager people are to take something for nothing
at the expense of moms and babies.  We have a lot of work to do !  Education
is the key also.  The mind set is just not there.  OB, Peds and hosp. staff
don't give a second thought about accepting the goodies,gifts and perks.  It
continues to be up to people like us even though there are those
days........   Battles can be won, one mother at a time.  That's where the
real satisfaction comes from.
