Someone asked (sorry, I forgot who it was), why the group of women in
Brasil would have so much fissures. I am wondering if this migth be a
matter of the use of language.

We in the Netherlands also talk about fissures for problems that looks the
same as the problems that Americans would call sore or cracked nipples.
(well.... that's how I interpreted it).

so, maybe that's the case with your group too, a matter of the use of
different words for the same problem.
