Lactnetters -- most of you know I am busy analyzing the results of my survey
on women/children in the US who breastfeed longer than 3 years.  I took the
survey down from my web page in 1998, and have been turning down people who
contacted me after the recent Mothering article about my research, wanting
to be part of it.  I really don't need any more people for the further
research I want to do, and I especially wanted to have as high a percentage
of the sample as possible be composed of children who had already weaned.

I recently asked some folks in Salt Lake City to fill out surveys, a group
of people that I knew had all nursed much longer than 3 years.  I did not
intend by this request to open up the general floodgates for surveys again.

Well . . . apparently someone has spread the word that I am accepting
surveys again, and I am being inundated with emails.  I'm really glad so
many people out there are nursing longer than 3 years, but I cannot take any
more surveys.

So please spread the word, if the topic comes up, that I do not need any
more surveys filled out.  They've taken on a life of their own!!!
