Was the diflucan a one-shot dose, or a 7-13 day dose (around 100mg/day)?
The one-shot vag dose may or may not work; it is usually considered
inadequate for lactation.  Also, it generally takes a few days to feel the
results, and sometimes longer. Tell her to hang in there a little longer.
