I don't know about the Bachelor degree but I just got my Master in Health & Wellness with emphasis on Lactation Consultancy from there and I thoroughly enjoyed the journey. It is challenging to study online and some of the courses had only somewhat to do with lactation (but you can tailor them), but I loved doing my thesis and immersing myself in my chosen topic. I found the professors to be very good overall and can recommend the university.

I am not sure about marketability. As far as I know, if you want to work in a hospital, most will require a RN degree. UI & U offers one of the smoothest ways IMO to become an LC (providing you can find a place to do your hours; the university will not supply you with one) and if you like academia, it can be very rewarding. I did it mainly because it was a very straight forward way to sit for the exam.

If you want to keep all your options open, and given that you are willing to invest in a bachelor degree, you might be better off obtaining an ASN or BSN.

Good luck,
Patricia
