Cindy, you wrote:

<It seems odd to me that I can offer the list a copy of a form or study
via e
mail or snail mail and I will get close to 100 requests for it, but if I
ask a question to about1,500 people I get two replies............'tis
sad.

I am here to learn , and help.I answer posts both privately and publicly
on
a regular basis, but it frustrates me that I don't often get the same in
return, is it me?  ;-(>

I don't think so, Cindy. I am willing to wager that it was because of the
unusual nature of the nipple condition you described. It sounded almost
like one of those situations "where you had to be there to appreciate it
fully."

When I read something on LN that sounds TOO obvious, I figure someone
else(s) will jump in and there's no need for my $.02. Then again, when I
read something that's obviously out of my comfort zone of expertise, I
just lurk, and listen and learn. And when I read something that falls
into my area of special interest, I get a great feeling if I can add to
the solution. And then there are days when I just lurk and log off,
because of other priorities, and I'm sure that's so with others much more
disciplined with their e-mail time than I. So don't take it personally.

BTW, when I wrote, I was on vacation in Phoenix, importing my e-mail to
my son's computer. Now that I'm back home at mine, I have no record of
what I wrote. If anything I talked about turns out to be the case, feel
free to quote what I wrote (my suggestion did not involve hydrogel) and
share it with all lactnuts. Then again, if Renate's suggestion seems to
apply, and it works, I'd like to learn about that, too.

Jean
