    Hmm, well that would assume that we always know by looking whether our
skin is intact. Im not sure gross examination is good enough when we are
talking about contact with musocal surfaces... also I am thinking of the
health professional viewpoint that at times universal precautions are to
protect the patient, but in some cases they protect us as well... sad but
true that also by the time many LCs get to a baby they may have already had
contact with latex, so are we adding to the risk or simply coming in after
the fact...
Always something else to think about...
