>I have a quick question for those of you who work in NICUs. How does your
unit warm breast milk that is in a syringe, that will be fed over a pump,
or by straight gavage? Do you warm it or not? Do you warm it in a
separate bottle/container, or in the syringe? We are just looking for
better practices.
Thanks,

I don't work in NICU, but have a counter question
Do you warm blood before a transfusion?

IIRC blood is given straight from the fridge, & not even left to reach room temperature.
I think there is a parallel here between the 2 living fluids.
