If this is truly Sheehan's, the mother may need to prepare for the worst but
she could certainly also hope for the best.  I know that some mothers have
had their pituitaries recover adequately between babies; maybe a pituitary
can recover enough within weeks or months.  My guess is that most mothers
with Sheehan's don't persist long enough to find out.  If she likes, she can
feed her baby fully at breast without a drop of milk. and doing so is
probably her best route to a milk supply no matter what the cause.
