  It wasn't even on the
one I filled in for my mammogram recently. When the technician was
going through my form with me, I commented on this and asked why they
didn't ask about breastfeeding history, both whether I was breastfed
or how long I had breastfed my babies. She said that it was because
it made no difference to breast cancer risk,

I was quite pleased that, when I had my first mammogram a few years
ago, I was asked whether I had breastfed and whether it was for total
of two years. Did you inform the technician that it did make a
difference to breast cancer risk? Sometimes people need to be educated.
If she learns that it does in fact make a difference, she has the
opportunity to become part of the solution in terms of her own bfing
practices and also in terms of making changes to the system, like
seeing what she can do to put the question on the form. We need as many
advocates as we can get!
