I am currently involved in a "discussion" with an editor about the  
word "breastmilk." To me the answer is obvious, however in every place  
where I used it as one word, "breastmilk,"  it was changed to breast  
milk.
We went through something like this several years ago in making  
breastfeeding, accepted as one word. If the current accepted use is 2  
words I will capitulate and that's that. If not I will stick to my guns.
