My reading of the literature on breast milk composition is that it is the
same around the world, regardless of climate, regardless of maternal
nutritional status. There are several articles about breast milk
composition from Scandinavian countries showing differences in the specific
types and proportions of fatty acids based on diet (vegetarian moms). I
have never seen anything to suggest that women in colder climates have
breast milk composition that is different from women in hotter climates.
