Hello everyone,
One of the participants in my breastfeeding class last week approached me to ask if I have had experience with mothers with hyperprolactinemia; well I havenīt and so I said I would try to gather some information. I know she has a blood level of 40,000 (donīt know what unit we are talking about here) but since I didnīt have much of a chance to talk to her I donīt know the cause or if she is being treated. Obviously we will probably have some serious oversupply issues here. Who has had some experience with this? Could it be that the oversupply will be so serious that the breastfeeding experience will be unpleasant for this mother? Thankful for any information and tips I can get.
