having just delivered a "sermon" last night on "the drug most contraindicated
during bf - formula" i heartily agree. at LLL meetings discussions of the
dangers of formula are not allowed, so including this in a bf
support/education class sponsored by hospitals or clinics etc. might cover
some territory that is different.

at the talk last night i heard a story about a hospital-based bf support
group. the mother who went to the group at six weeks postpartum reported that
of six mothers, four were supplementing with ABM. this didn't sound like a
ringing endorsement of the prenatal bf education class!
