I would like to second Kathleen Bruce's suggestion
that each Lactnetter purchase a copy of Tom's book
and go a step further: I suggest purchasing multiple
copies as gifts for colleagues. Last year I gave copies
to our pharmacy, pediatrics department and myself.
After purchasing a new edition at Scottsdale this
summer I sent my "old" copy to OB/GYN.  (As I am
writing this a moonlighter MD, a rheumatologist, filling
in for the holiday shift came up and asked if he could
borrow the book. He is copying the particulars so he
can order one for himself!)

It's still Thanksgiving so let me get in one last
THANKS: thanks Dr. Tom for "being there." You have
helped many, many people through your generous gift
of time (and patience!)
