Sorry for the wrong information.  You are right.  It can be used to
prevent painful swollen breasts in nursing mothers (used in a poultice
form).
Also should be used with caution in pregnancy because it is a strong
diuretic.
Excessive amounts will stop milk production of nursing mothers.
