Anne, you asked " The second questions is about treating the spouses of women
with
recurrent yeast problems... somewhere in my travels I seemed to have learned
that if the DAD/Partner has althlete's foot, dandruff, jock itch type
problems that its part of the yeast connection, so to speak..."

The first time I heard of the connection was when I read Maureen Minchin's book
*Breastfeeding Matters* -- now out in a new edition and shortly to be available
again in the UK (hurrah!!) where she draws attention to the connections.

Yes, sometimes Dad does need treatment, or, at the very least, awareness that
his hygeine and control of his yeast is a factor in the ability of mother and
baby to control their fungal overgrowth difficulties. It is an interesting
challenge to present this imformation to a woman, and/or to her partner!!
