Permission to post. I have a mom of 8 week twins. She had mastitis at 5
weeks and put on antibiotics. Then came 2 blebs on one nipple. Then one
went away... one opened and became a large crack. She is in extreme pain
and about to quit. No outward signs of yeast. Persistent plug ducts on that
side. She is in so much internal ductal pain during feeds and for an hour
after each feed on that side only. Do we go with antibiotics or dyflucan?
And any thoughts on helping her with the pain? She is taking narcotics
around the clock and still in extreme pain. Nipple shield has been used
without any success. Any help would be appreciative. Thank you! One baby
appears to have a tight bunched tongue. Other baby appears to be fine.
Thank you!!!
