Hello Everyone,
I just recently found out about a dinner put on in my community by one of
the ABM companies. The expensive food and open bar were a huge draw for
the health care workers from my hospital...dag nabbit! Anyway, I learned
from one of the attendees that their new product is DHA supplements for
moms. They claim that the average woman does not get enough DHA in her
diet and so if she chooses to breastfeed, these supplements are needed.
They cost $2.00 a piece.
So, they are either, A) Hoping to diversify into supplements for adults;
and/or B) hoping to give the not-so-subtle message that a woman's milk is
not good enough and so here, try this pill. Of course, many women can't
afford $2.00 a pill and so they see this nifty formula with DHA on the
label and figure it's better than her milk. Yikes, am I mad.

Has anyone else come across this? If this has already been discussed...my
apologies.
