Yes, it is the delete key. Many people use this freely as they read their
email..me included.

In addition, people sometimes go to the INDEX option for Lactnet, which
gives you a "menu" of postings..from which you can choose. To set yourself
to INDEX, do a

Set Lactnet Index
to the LISTSERV address.

I think that the THING post was extremely on the mark, and hilariously
funny. Hits you where you live, as someone said, and is related to bf in a
very acute sense.   Just my humble opinion.
