If I remember correctly (that's a big 'if'), excess body hair is a
characteristic of PCOS. Given what is beginning to be better understood
about PCOS, this could explain difficulties for at least a subset of the
hairy population.

Subject: hairy moms

My co-worker has asked if I would post this question. She has noticed
several moms with supply problems that have more facial and even chest
hair than you usually see on a female. She is wondering if there is a
connection. I thought that the "hariness" might relate to having too
much male hormones "on board" and that this could affect milk supply.
Any thoughts? Has anyone else noticed this connection?

Winnie
