I have not personally breastfeed while diagnosed with MS. However, I have MS. Is she currently taking any meds? I too have heard that if symptoms have disappeared during pregnancy that due to lower hormones they will continue to gone during breastfeeding. I do know fatigue is something I really struggled with right after my first was born (5 years before my diagnosis). I would encourage her to read Safe Sleep and have a a network of support ready to help (with cleaning and meals not holding baby).
Let me know if I can assist further. I would be happy to help support her along the way through you or just with her. It might help her to talk to others with MS who breastfed. I can ask around my MS forums if she would like.

She says her symptoms have almost disappeared with her pregnancy & has read that can also extend into the time she's breastfeeding. She asked what I know. I have absolutely no experience with MS & breastfeeding, but I told her I could ask my internet colleagues. What info do you wise ladies have that I can pass on to her? Pat Bucknell IBCLCAvon Lake OH
