My intention is not to encourage debate on this subject. I'm only providing
this information because this research was not brought up yet. Informed
choice means info on both sides, right?

While this is not about breastfeeding babies, there have been research
papers coming out lately that say early exposure to marijuana increases the
likelihood of early pschosis.

If research is saying it's dangerous for teens to smoke up because their
brains are developing, how much more dangerous could it be for a fetus, or
an infant/child?

And, while the risk itself may be low, having other factors in life may
increase it (family history of mental health issues) My kids have been told
this research (oldest are 16 and 13). There are mental health issues on
both sides of their lineage. It really isn't a smart idea for them to
start. They have seen first hand what mania/depression and psychosis look
and act like. They don't want to go there. Ever.

With love and respect,

Steph
