My first reaction was to tell you to call all your BF friends and have a
nurse in! Newsweek Sept. 23, 1996 page 8 says" Justice: Feeding Time. For
anyone still hazy on the concept: women have the legal right to vote, bear
arms--and breast-feed in public. On Aug.30 in Milford, Conn., a cop told
Dina Tantimonaco to stop breast-feeding her baby in her parked truck.
Tantimonaco complained to the cops, her state representative and local
breast-feeding advocates of La Leche League. Result: Connecticut could soon
become the 13th state in the union to pass a law clarifying a woman's right
to breast-feed in public. And the entire Milford Police Department has
apologized." Thought you'd all enjoy this!
