What a beautiful story!

I know she has only just started,but what a gift you have given her(even if
she only got to breastfeed a few times).That's powerful bonding!

What a shame, when mothers with biological babies give up only after a
week, or sometimes a few days.They need patience,persistence &
perserverence;but some women just dont have it.Since learning from Darilyn
& Karleen of the posibilities,I always have hope(as long as the mother is
willing).Why do so many give up so easily?Is it because they see no harm in
formula?

I know some women dont have a choice.Isnt that a failing of our
societies?We all have blood banks.Why not milk banks?
People dont HAVE to smoke or not wear seatbelts,or other unhealthy habits.
I know all the guilt stuff & agree,but...
I feel sorry for all the women who tried their hardest to breastfeed & for
whom it didnt work out.(it would of devastated me)
I feel sorry for all the women that dont breastfeed because they dont know
any better....& are'nt told because people dont want to make them feel
guilty or whatever.
I feel sorry for all those that just are'nt in the right mental space(too
stressed,not supported,social &/or personal problems...) & thus give up
breasrfeeding or dont even try.

Thank goodness for all the positive, beautiful breastfeeding stories.Keep
them coming please,because sometimes it just all seems SOOOO hard to be so
passionate about it,when others dont seem to see the light.
