Janet,

There are other internet servers that charge about $25 to $30 a month for a
certain number of hours.  They are usually a non-graphic interface, very
DOS-ish in format.  If you are comfortable with a language like DOS, you
would do fine.  Usually they give between 40 and 70 hours for the $30 or so.
 Look in your local large city Sunday paper - there will be adds in the
business section.
