Evi posts from an article, "Breast is Best, Yet Not Always the Most
Realistic Option
http://www.prweb.com/releases/2006/10/prweb461784.htm
Web site educates new mothers of the benefits of breast pumping.

That was nothing but an advertisement for a PUMP! As Lara
continues, "A benefit to pumping is emotional stability that some mothers
might experience from a few extra moments of sleep" Yeah, right! "Breast
pumping can be a wonderful alternative to bringing baby to breast. For moms
that worry endlessly about how much breast milk the baby is consuming,
pumping can be a good choice to allow moms to actually see what the baby is
consuming. In addition, pumping can allow mom to get those few extra hours
of sleep that will definitely help minimize some of the depression
experienced from sleep deprivation."
I believe she neglected to note the decrease in supply she would
have while she "sleeps thru the night." Altho, she DID mention that you
should have a case of ABM around, b/c we all have to supplement! She also
talked about the "bonding" mom & babe will have because mom is NOT
depressed! No, mom will be bonded to the pump, babe will be bonded to dad &
grandma!
What a load of horse do-do! I hope moms overlook that site while
they are surfing!
