I've treated one or two infants who acted like that who had thrush. One was on
formula and seemed to fight taking the bottle, and a couple were latching on
poorly. They also had gas. I've also seen lots of children with ear infections
who seem reluctant to suck on bottles. If Max hasn't had a thorough exam of
his mouth and ears, I would suggest it.
