In regard to addressing breastfeeding in prenatal classes, yes yes and YES!

According to the Center for Disease Control Guide to Breastfeeding Interventions (produced by the US department of health and human services):

"A review by the US preventive Services Task Force in July 2003 determined education on breastfeeding to the MOST EFFECTIVE SINGLE INTEREVENTION (emphasis mine) for increasing breastfeeding initiation and duration."

and

"Prenatal education on breastfeeding can affect a mother's decision to even consider it as a feeding option."

By all means do include breastfeeding information in your classes! There are numerous books and resources to develop creative and engaging ways to facilitate this information but in my opinion it would be a great disservice to anyone attending prenatal classes to not receive information about breastfeeding.
