First, I'd tell mom to STAY AWAY FROM that nutritionist, with all her
inaccurate info. I truly don't think there is anything mom could document
for this nutritionist that would change her mind :-( Have a go with some
basics ref and then stop beating your head against the wall and
ignore/forget her, have no contact with her!

Follow baby's lead. If baby doesn't want solids there is probably a good
reason, her body is telling her no! Sadly, if baby was chubby and not
eating no one would notice. But since this baby isn't thriving everyone is
in a tailspin. How is baby developmentally? On target? Active?

Only talk with the supportive pedi! Ask pedi to explore why this baby is
having so much trouble with ordinary things. The fact that it includes
potatoes and rice seems to eliminate celiac disease, but it still needs to
be officially eliminated as cause. Check baby's iron periodically, that
would probably be the only thing I'd add , if needed. This baby probably
wouldn't do well with vitamins (or does she do OK with them?)

Well now I must get on to other things, morning rant over! Sincerely. Pat
