Barbara,
Your recent post on "Is Brg, Hard", is an important lesson we should always
remember. If we want to be included in the health care field we must always
remember we want healthy mothers and babies.  Sometimes breastfeeding
doesn't work.  Our job is to bring our skills to the table for mothers to
access.  We're one of the professionals she has on her team.  I am so glad
we have skilled neonatologists and physicians and OB's who do a very good
job caring for so many women and infants.  We all have a piece of the
puzzle... We feel passionately about breastfeeding and we have wonderful
skills but we don't have all the answers.  That's why being open, respectful
and willing to walk in someone else's shoes is something we can all work at.
